We started De Zwarte Haan from a passion for real food, for fresh, healthy and authentic food. At De Zwarte Haan we only use really fresh ingredients: fresh eggs straight from the farm, organic tomatoes, fresh fish and free-range beef. We strive to make every dish an original expression of our passion for food and life.
We would like you to enjoy our culinary kitchen and hospitality. In addition to the à la carte menu, we have a varied range of menus. From meat, fish, poultry, game and vegetarian to typical dishes from Het Bildt and the rest of Friesland.
We work a lot with regional dishes that Friesland can be proud of. Our goat cheese comes from local cheese factory De Molkerei.
We obtain our Livar pork from the Lilbosch Abbey in Limburg, where the monks still keep pigs on a small scale.
